3-tråds Strikkegarn is a 3-ply carded yarn made from 100% Norwegian wool. With its 3 plies, this yarn is particularly durable and hard-wearing.
3-tråds Strikkegarn is one of our oldest yarn qualities and has been made since the founding of Rauma in 1927. The yarn is mainly used for traditional sweaters and cardigans with patterned knitting, but it is also very suitable for both plain knitting and textured knitting. 3-tråds Strikkegarn produces airy, warm, and durable garments. If you want to knit a good work sweater or a traditional wool sweater, this is the yarn for you.
3-tråds Strikkegarn has excellent elasticity, which makes cable patterns "pop" and retain their shape well. Garments knitted with 3-tråds Strikkegarn stay beautiful and in shape for a long time.
For a softer result, knit it together with Alpakka Lin, Mohair Luxe, or Zen (for example).
